Excellent concept, could use a few tweaks

It is a beautiful game, very calm colours, and lovely concepts. There are however a few things that would make it more useful. First, a mindful game maybe isn’t really about ‘winning’. There are lots of cooperative games these days, and this is a missed opportunity to create a game that doesn’t involve competing with your family and siblings.

Also, it is essentially snakes and ladders - but if you have a kid who has lots of passion and needs the mindfulness, they might struggle with the idea of going backwards, losing a turn etc. and it is all pure luck, so parents can’t even make it ‘easier’ for the youngest children.

The ‘Happy Cards’ are my favourite part, however they make it hard to play regularly as they are often asking for your ‘favourite’ something, or ‘the best’ something, rather than just ‘tell me about a wonderful memory’. The second would allow a different answer each time rather than the same one.

Also, a great addition would be additional mindful techniques - such as describing things you hear/see/smell etc.

Family Game Night

Loved adding this to our weekly game night rotation. It’s a sweet low key game that checks in with how we are feeling and doing. I see us play it a lot & it growing with us.

The sweetest board game

I ordered this for my 6 YO , who can get extra spicey at times. We all love this game. It is so dang sweet. The yoga moves are fun. We even played with my 2 year old and he had a blast too. The cards are definitely age appropriate and insightful. Perfect for busy, inquisitive littles. The whole family can enjoy it!

This is a beautiful game for the family. My granddaughters tell me its their favourite game. I love the happy cards that invite you to think about yourself, your loved ones and the world around us. it is also such fun when everyone has to do a yoga pose or pull a funny face. Great fun with lots of purpose.
